The Environment Agency are becoming increasingly concerned with the pollution caused by poorly maintained sewage treatment plants and have the power to issue fines to the owner/operator where a pollution is being caused by a neglected plant.
As the owner/operator of a package treatment plant, it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that the plant remains in good working order and therefore continues to produce an effluent that complies with the Environment Agency’s regulations.
At Roe Environmental Ltd we can offer a full and comprehensive care plan. We will:
- tailor the desludging/service intervals to best suit the individual plant.
- routinely test the discharged effluent to ensure the plant is complying with the regulations.
- carry out any repairs or maintenance required to keep the plant in good working order.
The owner/operator will receive a service log book in which any servicing and maintenance carried out is recorded, as well as the results of any effluent tests. A good record of maintenance is recommended as this will serve as proof that the plant has been maintained responsibly should any suspected pollution issues arise. It is also particularly helpful to potential new owners of any property.
Our aim is to give customers peace of mind that as the owner/operator they are being responsible and doing all they can to be compliant with the regulations set out by the Environment Agency. As well as providing a long life & cost effective service of their treatment plant.
Service Plans
Our service plans are tailored around your system’s specific requirements and are designed to keep your plant working efficiently, reliably and legally.
An initial compliance and condition assessment of your treatment plant will need to be carried out by one of our British Water Accredited Service Engineers. All details relating to servicing and de-sludging intervals are then compiled to tailor your service plan around your plant’s specific requirements. If any faults are diagnosed a quotation will be provided to carry out any necessary work required to bring your plant to it’s full correct working condition.
Bronze
- De-sludging as per the manufacturer’s recommendations
- Servicing and preventative maintenance carried out as per the manufacturer’s recommendations
- Effluent test carried out on the discharge effluent to ensure compliance
- Full service report provided including advisories of any repairs needed
Silver
- All aspects of the Bronze plan
- Free labour on repairs carried out by our service engineers
Gold
- All aspects of the Silver plan
- Replacement of any parts failed due to normal wear and tear
- Priority booking on emergency callouts (weekdays only)
- Free callouts due to failed parts (weekdays only)
- Receive credit of initial assessment cost
Our service plan customers benefit from a yearly discount on desludging and servicing costs compared to individual one-off bookings.
